Hello reader, new work time has come around again!
A few weeks ago we popped to cornwall for a long weekend, magnificent! The weather was in the best part glorious, the views along the coast were stunning and our B&B was perfect.
We stayed in St Agnes on the North Coast, it is a very old mining community now busy with tourists and surfers!
The image above is an old engine house on the way to Chapel Porth, just a couple on miles along the coast from St Agnes. This area is full of industrial heritage, much of it precariously perched on the edge of the cliffs such as this one. I urge anyone visiting the area to get acquainted with the history of the mines and the associated stories of the men, women and children who worked them, fascinating and so tough! Oh and visit the Crowns at Bottallack near St Just, an amazing feat of engineering and daring!
We of course spent a little time on some of the wonderful sandy beaches and yes Mark, we were at the Bluff and did a little body dragging and body dunking! Great fun!
Enough of me chattering, I will let the images speak for themselves, they can be found in the new work section, comments always welcome.
Bye for now
I have an interest in photography and am attempting to train my eye and improve my technique!
