Between Christmas & new year, we made a visit to the glorious city of Bath to relax & just to take it easy. Part of the plan was to pop across the border into Wales and drive to Brecon grabbing some captures along the way. Alas, this plan was thwarted due to the rain and then more rain! So we spent 3 days in the town dodging the showers, drinking tea, coffee, wine & beer, so the only shots taken were those one evening when the rain halted for a brief moment, hence the low light images.
All of the images were taken around the Royal Crescent save for one, which was in the pub. For those who do not know, the crescent is a street of 30 terraced houses in a sweeping curve designed by the architect John Wood the Younger and was built between 1767 & 1744. It is reputed to be amongst the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the UK.
Many notable people have visited and lived in the crescent over the years, even Nicolas Cage, so I have been informed!
My images can be found on my home page and in the 3 galleries. I hope you enjoy looking at them, I certainly enjoyed capturing them.
Bye for now.
I have an interest in photography and am attempting to train my eye and improve my technique!
