Today's blog as you can see is largely based around sheep, yes sheep!
On my drive to work through the Meon Valley I pass by this field of sheep, they are out in all weather and of late, it has been snow!
At first I would stand by the gate to the field and they would just stare and watch, all lined up from bow to stern! I then started to rattle the gate chain and instead of the sheep fleeing, they would come a little closer. Eventually I entered the field and approached the flock, after a short while they came even closer still, just a few meters allowing me to snap away until I could not feel my fingers and toes!
I am guessing that the ewe's are with lamb, it should not be too long before the first are born. I hope still to be travelling this valley so I can capture the first days of the lamb's time in the field, because it will not be too long before they are on the table!
Take a look at my most recent work, there the sheep will be found.
I have an interest in photography and am attempting to train my eye and improve my technique!
